Carol holds a Bachelors from Duquesne University, a Masters of Education from Boston University and has worked in non-profit management for 30 years. As a seasoned nonprofit leader she is well versed in the varying demands of administrative directorship. Carol has a solid and successful history of working with Boards of Directors to establish and fulfill strategic plans and propel agencies forward, often becoming the recognized leaders of their industries. She has extensive personnel management experience and has been accountable for staff operations of half a dozen to well over 50 and volunteer workforces of up to 1,000 members. With progressive leadership positions across both non-profit and for-profit organizations, she is highly experienced in strategic business planning and developing funding opportunities to drive organizational growth and success. She has helped multiple organizations grow significantly in number of participants, programming, funding opportunities, and membership base. She is a seasoned fund development professional, with extensive experience ranging from grant writing and management, to donor cultivation, capital funds, orchestrating special events, endowment campaigns and securing major gifts. Some of her largest successes have been in running $MM campaigns. Carols extensive experience includes all aspects of NPO best practices and all stages of NPO development. Carol is an inclusive leader who fosters growth, opportunity and ownership. She believes deeply in the work, understands the challenges and is committed to keeping it authentic and fun.
Dale has had a varied and exciting career serving as a Public Accountant, Management Consultant, State Legislator, Investment Specialist and Business Venture Advisor. With more than 30 years of local, national and international experience, Dale has amassed a wealth of knowledge and expertise in wide array of corporate practices. As the President of Growth Equity Management, a Registered Investment Advisory Firm, Dale supervises and administers the investment portfolios of his corporate and private clients. Dale holds to a strict standard of conduct and brings integrity, genuine concern and commitment to each of his clients. His dedication, unsurpassed professionalism and stellar services has resulted in a broad network of loyal corporate and individual clients who rely heavily upon his skilled guidance. Dale’s is always a common sense, thorough and highly informed approach and he can consistently be relied upon to bring clarity and calm – even to chaos. Dale has a long and rich history of serving his community and has served on countless Boards and Commissions. As a State Legislator he served on the Health and Human Services Committee and worked to protect the rights of women who were trying to escape abuse and oppression. As a proponent of accessible mental health services, Dale served on the Mental Health Commission and is dedicated to removing the stigma of mental illness. Dale has long believed in the power of NPO’s and the tremendous service they provide within our communities and has served as a Pro Bono Advisor to several organizations. He has lent his expertise to greatly enhancing their fiduciary practices, increasing transparency, building their funding capacity and crafting and implementing clear business strategies.
